ScreenVet Toxo AG is a rapid lateral slide immunochromatographic sandwich Toxoplasmosis Antigen (Feces/Serum/Plasma) cassette test for the qualitative detection of Toxoplasma gondii antigen (Toxo Ag) in animal faeces, serum or plasma. The rapid Toxoplasmosis Antigen cassette test is based on a lateral slide sandwich immunochromatographic analysis. The test cassette has an analysis window. The analysis window has an invisible area of ​​the T line (test) and one of the C line (control). When you pour the sample into the sample well on the cassette, the liquid flows sideways onto the surface of the test strip. If there are enough Toxoplasma gondii antigens in the sample, a visible T line appears in the T area. The C line should always appear after addition of the sample, confirming the validity of the result. In this way the cassette can accurately indicate the presence of Toxoplasma gondii antigen in the sample.
