The Coronavirus – Parvovirus – Giardia Ag test is a “One step” colored immunochromatographic test for the qualitative research of the antigens of Coronavirus, Parvovirus and Giardia spp. in faecal samples of dogs and cats. The new strains of Parvovirus are also infectious for cats and can be transmitted between different species. Feline panleukopenia is a highly contagious disease and is found worldwide. Canine Coronavirus is one of the most important canine viruses and is very similar to Feline Coronavirus which is the pathogen of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Recent studies have shown that an isolated FIP virus is traceable to a recombinant canine and feline Coronavirus virus. For Giardia having an intermittent excretion with the faeces, it is advisable to take the faeces from at least three consecutive emissions. Three repeated tests in 7-10 days give the certainty of a negative sample.
